Hi, I'm Sibu

I created Au Paired because I believe beautiful jewellery should not be saved for special occasions.

It should be worn to work, on the school run, while meeting friends, while building something of your own and through all the ordinary moments that make up a life.

Au Paired is a Black-owned, female-founded jewellery brand based in Cape Town. I started it while working full time and raising two little ones, building the brand in the quiet hours between work, motherhood and everyday life.

I wanted to create a collection of modern, timeless pieces that feel special without being difficult to wear. Pieces that pair easily with what you already own and become part of your everyday style.

I focus on 18k gold-plated stainless steel jewellery that is hypoallergenic, tarnish-resistant and designed for more than one moment. Each piece is thoughtfully selected, carefully checked and packed by me before making its way to you.
