Orders & Shipping

Where do you ship to?

We currently ship locally and nationwide across South Africa via PostNet, PUDO, or Paxi.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping is R99 on orders under R750. Orders R750 and above qualify for free shipping — so fill that cart.

How long does delivery take?

Standard delivery typically takes 3–5 business days depending on your location. You'll receive a tracking number once your order is on its way.

Can I track my order?

Yes! Once your order is dispatched you'll receive a tracking number via email so you can follow it all the way to your door.

Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?

We process orders quickly so please get in touch as soon as possible if you need to make changes. Once an order has been dispatched we're unable to make amendments.

Products & Materials

What materials do you use?

All AU-PAIRED pieces are made from one of the following:

  • 18k Gold Plated — a base metal coated in a layer of 18k gold for a beautiful finish
  • Gold Vermeil — sterling silver base with a thick layer of 18k gold, ideal for sensitive skin
  • Stainless Steel — durable, tarnish-resistant and great for everyday wear

Are your pieces suitable for sensitive ears?

Yes! Our pieces are selected with sensitive ears in mind. Gold vermeil and stainless steel are especially well-suited for those with sensitivities. If you have a known allergy to specific metals, please check the product description before purchasing.

Will my jewellery tarnish?

With proper care, your pieces will last a long time. To keep them looking their best:

  • Remove before swimming, showering, or exercising
  • Store in a dry place away from direct sunlight
  • Avoid contact with perfume, lotions, and oils
  • Pat dry if they come into contact with moisture

How do I care for my jewellery?

Gently wipe with a soft dry cloth after wearing. Store pieces individually to avoid scratching. Treat them well, and they'll stay gold.

Returns & Exchanges

What is your return policy?

We want you to love your pieces. If something isn't right, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order, and we'll do our best to help.

Can I exchange an item?

Yes, exchanges are welcome, subject to stock availability. Items must be unworn and in their original condition. Please reach out to us directly to arrange an exchange.

What if my item arrives damaged?

We're sorry to hear that — please contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order with a photo of the damage, and we'll sort it out for you right away.

AU-PAIRED is a Cape Town-based brand. We're a small operation with big love for jewellery and even bigger love for our customers.

Every order is packaged with care. If you're sending a gift and would like a personalised note included, just mention it in the order notes at checkout.
